COME JOIN IN A MAJOR FUN EVENT OF THE COOPER RIVER YACHT CLUB !!!
Each year the Cooper River Yacht Club sponsors a "Scavenger Hunt".
CRYC is a non-profit organization dedicated to sponsoring and being active in the boating community of Charleston, South Carolina. The Scavenger Hunt takes place on and around Charleston Harbor. This year the procedes of our event will go to the Youth Boating Program of the Charleston area. The intent is to promote both an interest in boating and to encourage responsible behavior and competency on the water.
Here's the Deal:
A Pot-luck Dinner and the Scavenger Hunt Captain's Reception will take place on Friday evening, August 15th. The questions that must be answered as part of the hunt will be handed out to each entered boat.
The Logistics:
Entrance fee for each boat is $45 and includes a meal on Saturday night the 16th for the Captain and one guest. This is a deal and a half since the price for the "Low Country Boil Dinner" on Saturday evening is $17.50 per person.
Additionally, there will be prizes for virtually every boat (not guaranteed), so you do the math. It is a No Lose Situation!
Miscellaneous Stuff:
There is no charge for the pot-luck dinner. Just bring something to share. CRYC will furnish soda, beer and wine for the event.
Location is at the Power Squadron building on Orange Grove Road, Charleston. Time is 6 PM.
